Some of the Year’s Most Anticipated Films Are Coming to Netflix This Month

Jesse Plemons and Jessie Buckley in "I'm Thinking of Ending Things"

Theaters around the world are slowly reopening, but Netflix still remains one of our main sources of entertainment. Several highly-anticipated films are coming to this streaming platform in September, and these three are showing a lot of promise.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things (September 4th)

We can always count on Charlie Kaufman to give us mind-bending and quirky films, and his latest project perfectly fits the mold. It follows a young woman who starts questioning everything in her life after traveling with her boyfriend to his family farm.

The Devil All the Time (September 16th)

This grim psychological thriller centers on a group of sinister characters in post-World War II Southern Ohio, who’s fates are linked together. It’s worth watching for its cast alone since it stars Tom Holland, Riley Keough, Sebastian Stan, Robert Pattinson, and many more.

Enola Holmes (September 23rd)

This film is based on Nancy Springer’s reimagining of the Sherlock Holmes novels, and it stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Sam Claflin. Instead of focusing on the world-famous detective, it follows the adventures of his younger sister Enola as she tries to find her missing mother.
