]]>Ever since watching Friends: The Reunion our love for the show has been reignited and Courteney Cox has been recreating iconic Monica Geller moments with the help of her celebrity friends. We’re talking major A-list stars like Ed Sheeran and Elton John.
Cox’s first tribute to Friends was posted on May 30 and it was a video of herself and Ed Sheeran doing the choreography that Ross and Monica performed to try and get spotted by their parents during a New Year’s Eve TV special.
“Just some routine dancing with a friend,” Cox captioned the post, where she and Sheeran perfectly executed every move, except for the dramatic ending.
On June 6, Cox shared another video with Sheeran and this time the two were joined by Elton John and Brandi Carlie to honor their costar Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay. They performed a cover of “Tiny Dancer” with Cox playing piano and Sheeran on guitar. They gave the song a Phoebe twist making it “Tony Danza” instead. The song was as entertaining as it was impressive.
We can’t wait to see what Cox does next. What other scenes will she recreate and what celebrity guests will she invite?

]]>Last weekend was one for the books—we finally got the Friends reunion we were dreaming of. Friends: The Reunion aired on HBO Max on May 27, and it was the second time that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer were in the same room since the show ended 17 years ago. When Friends aired, in addition to the fashion trends, one of the most popular things to come from the sitcom was “The Rachel”.
The Rachel, which became super popular during the ’90s, was Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel Green’s hairstyle, and after the character debuted it, it became the hairstyle of the decade. It became synonymous with the ’90s and it’s one of the most iconic and well-known show hairstyles.
Even though it became an instant hit, Aniston later revealed to Allure that the cut was the “ugliest she has ever seen.” During the decade, the haircut was copied by everyone and almost twenty years later, it’s back and better than ever. Even Renée Zellweger, Mariah Carey, and Chrissy Teigen are into it in 2021.
If you want to get The Rachel, make sure you visit a salon. Ask for collapsed layers on the side of the head. Layers and volume are what make the haircut. For a more modern take on the look, ask for long layers, curtain bangs, or a shag haircut.

This reunion special was supposed to premiere on HBO Max when it launched, but it took a year longer to bring it to life. Monica Geller proved to us that button-down shirts paired with nice jeans can look both stylish and sexy.

]]>Friends fans finally got what they were hoping for: a reunion special. After much talk and countless delays due to the pandemic, Friends: The Reunion was released on HBO Max. The reunion was filmed on the classic sitcom’s original stage and it marked only the second time that all six cast members—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer—have been in the same room since the show wrapped up 17 years ago. Hosted by James Corden, the 100-minute special made us laugh and cry with behind-the-scenes confessions and surprise segments. There were tons of memorable moments, but these were our three favorites.
Ross Tells Marcel to “F—k Off”
Apparently, David Schwimmer’s Ross Geller really hated working with Marcel the monkey. The actor explained the monkey was hard to work with because it “didn’t do its job right”. To an insult to injury, in between takes the trainer would feed the monkey, who was sitting on Schwimmer’s shoulder live grubs. His final words for Marcel were to “F—k off”.
Lady Gaga Joins Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay “Smelly Cat”
“Smelly Cat” became an instant hit once Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay sang it and over the years, the actress has been joined by some amazing duet partners like Taylor Swift and Chris Issak. The latest was Lady Gaga who sang alongside Kudrow on Central Perk’s couch and they were backed by a full choir. The performance was epic up through the final seconds when Kudrow says, “I still think it’s better when it’s just me.”
Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer Admit to Crushing on Each Other
It turns out that Ross and Rachel’s romance was so believable because Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer had crushes on each other in real life. Unfortunately, they never acted on it because they were both always in a relationship.

Throughout the trailer, they take us through several iconic locations from the series, including Monica’s apartment, Central Perk, and the fountain from the opening theme.
Walking Down Memory Lane
Friends: The Reunion is an unscripted special, but that’s not stopping it from packing an emotional punch. Judging by the trailer, it will feature a table read of “The One Where Everybody Finds Out”, a round of Friends trivia, an interview with James Corden, and a lot of nostalgic conversations between the cast members.
Guest Stars
Corden is one of the stars to make a cameo in the trailer, along with Cara Delevingne and Tom Selleck, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
