Taylor Swift’s latest musical offering “Christmas Tree Farm” has all the makings of a Christmas number one.
The track reverts to a more traditional holiday feel. Think the Coca-Cola holiday advert meets the Love Actually soundtrack. Swift uses sleighbells to set the tempo of her high-spirit Christmas banger.
Better still, the video for “Christmas Tree Farm” features home-shot footage of a baby Taylor Swift playing in the snow. The lyrics of her holiday tune refer back to her time growing up on a farm, thanking her lover for rekindling the fond memories of her childhood.
Swift shared the news that she would be dropping a holiday song via social media. She shared a video with fans, which she captioned: “When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee. When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgemental brush offs… just put the song out anyway. NEW XMAS SONG AND VIDEO (made from home videos) OUT TONIGHT. #ChristmasTreeFarm.”
