The 3 Album Releases We’re Looking Forward to in 2021

New year, new music. Are we right? This year will be super exciting when it comes to new albums as many were postponed in 2020 and are set to be released in 2021. With all of the albums that will be released this year, we had trouble narrowing it down to just three, but we did our best. Here are the three albums releases we’re excited for in 2021.

Adele

It’s been five years since Adele released her album 25 and it looks like 2021 could be the year when she releases her fourth album. Adele let it slip at a wedding that her latest full-length was coming in September 2020, but it was delayed due to the coronavirus. When she hosted Saturday Night Live in October, the singer made it seem like new music was on the way and hosting she posted on Instagram with the caption, “Peace out til next year”, indicating that an album might be coming sooner rather than later.

Drake: Certified Lover Boy

Drake announced the release of Certified Lover Boy in August with the release of “Laugh Now Cry Later”. The rapper followed with a trailer for the album which is set to be released in January.

Lana Del Rey: Chemtrails Over the Country Club

Del Ray revealed the news of her Norman F****ing Rockwell! successor Chemtrails Over the Country Club in May and that it was delayed 16 weeks from its initial arrival in late 2020. She teased one unreleased song called “Tulsa Jesus Freak,” and shared “Let Me Love You Like a Woman”. She’s set to share the music video for the title track of Chemtrails on January 11 and she said the album should be released sometime in March.
