The Emmy Awards are less than two weeks away, and TV experts are pretty certain who’s going to win the most prestigious prizes of the night. TV shows about entitled, wealthy families are expected to lead the way, with Succession and Schitt’s Creek being clear favorites in drama and comedy categories.

Awards prediction website Gold Derby asked two dozens experts to share their thoughts about this year’s Emmy race, and most of them agree Succession will walk away with the top prize. The second season of the HBO drama about a dysfunctional global-media family was met with universal acclaim, and Ozark is the only show that could possibly pull the rug from under its feet.

When it comes to the award for the best comedy series, it’s a close race between Schitt’s Creek and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The Canadian sitcom about the trials and tribulations of the formerly wealthy Rose family is expected to walk out as the winner, in addition to potently winning several awards in acting categories.

HBO’s Watchmen is a clear favorite in the limited series categories, with Mrs. America and Unbelievable trailing right behind. Regina King is expected to take the best actress award, but the race for the best actor in the limited series is extremely close and it will be one of the most unpredictable of the night.

There’s a lot of mystery surrounding the ceremony itself due to its virtual format. It will be held on September 20th, with Jimmy Kimmel serving as a host.
