The Latest Wedding Invitation Trends Courtesy of Blush and Blossom

A recent New York Time’s article hailed 2021 as “the year of the wedding after-party”. “If 2020 was the year of the Zoom wedding, 2021 promises to be a year of after-parties”, read the opening paragraph. After a year of lockdown, couples are looking to splurge on that extra special event. But splurging doesn’t have to be tasteless. Investing in a wedding invitation (which also serves as a great memento) is a great way of adding a tasteful touch to your wedding day (or after-party).

Blush & Blossom might just inspire you. A Yorkshire-based stationery and design studio that also runs a charming Etsy shop, they offer a wide range of graphic design services – of which, most notably, are their trendy wedding invitations. Themes include retro vibes, bohemian dreams, and elegant greenery.

As well as “save the dates” and invitations, on-the-day stationery is also available for each collection, which includes items such as welcome signs, table plans, name cards, menus, and table numbers. Further bespoke items can also be requested and designed to match.

The brand also an emphasis on sustainability, as brand owner Emma Fisher stresses that all card used among her products is FSC certified; meaning that the materials have been ethically sourced from well-managed and sustainable forests.

“I’ve always loved graphic design, and having worked in the industry for over 10 years I’ve built up experience in design, print production, as well as communications and trends,” Fisher told Printed. “I’ve always loved doing my own unique prints, cards, and wedding stationery for friends and that’s when Blush & Blossom was born.”

In fact, it was after designing a few of her friends’ wedding invitations that Fisher realized she needed to take a leap of faith and open her own business.
