One of the best places to pick up on upcoming trends in fashion and beauty is the runway shows being shown for each new season. And this year’s Fall/Winter 2021 shows have been pointing to some very specific trends in the beauty world that you’ll probably be seeing all over the place in the next few months. Here are a few of them.
Ear Makeup
In Collina Strada’s show, we saw something quite unique and unusual: ear makeup. A great way to create a sparkly, otherworldly, fairy vibe, ear makeup can be done quite easily with makeup pigment powders and will definitely make you stand out wherever you decide to wear it.
Vampy Lips
Although Lorde may have sung in the song “Oceanic Feeling” off of her new album Solar Power that “the cherry black lipstick’s gathering dust in a drawer,” vampy lip colors are actually back this season, with dark, bold, blood shades making an appearance in the Coach show.
Neon Eyes
The weather might be getting cooler but it looks like bright colors are here to stay for yet another season, with Proenza Schouler and Prabal Gurung both showing neon eyeshadow looks in shades of electric blue, neon pink, orange, and golden yellow. This one is perfect for your next party.
