The Umbrella Academy is officially coming back for Season 3 next year and we couldn’t be more excited to see all the twists and turns that Season 2 left off with, especially the mysterious Sparrow Academy. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming season, so get excited!
Plot
At the end of Season 2, the Umbrella Academy met up with their current timeline only to find out that Ben is alive and part of the superheroes called the Sparrow Academy, which has also replaced the Umbrella Academy. Not much else has been revealed about the upcoming season, but we do know the episode title which is “The World’s Biggest Ball of Twine,” “Pocket Full of Lightning,” “Kugelblitz,” “Kindest Cut,” “Marigold,” “Auf Wiedersehen,” “Wedding at the End of the World,” “Six Bells,” and “Oblivion.”
Cast
Returning for the new season are Elliot Page, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Ritu Arya, Tom Hopper, Justin H. Min, and Aidan Gallagher. Joining the cast as the Sparrow Academy are Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein.
Release Date
Netflix revealed in a teaser on their site that the new season will be dropping in 2022. No official release date has been announced yet.
