Rosewood Hong Kong is a luxury hotel that has just opened a new women-only speakeasy bar that offers a view of the harbor and a selection of delicious cocktails.
The hotel opened one bar in the past. It was a jazz bar that served rare aged spirits and regular cocktails called Darkside, and now they have XX, a place that’s strictly reserved for ladies.
The bar serves cocktails and light bites to go with the drinks. It’s opened five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm, and they require reservations. The cocktails are made by Arkadiusz Rybak, Rosewood’s director of bars, and the selection includes a Champagne cocktail mixed with bergamot, jasmine, and gin, as well as a cocktail called BFF made with pine needles, cucumber juice, and yuzu vinegar.
There are women-only bars and clubs around the world. Beso in Las Vegas, run by Eva Longoria, is probably the most famous one.
