Most people discovered new hobbies during the lockdown or reignited their passion for the ones they’ve completely forgotten. Some of the activities we’ve been practicing while social distancing are too good to give up—including these five.


Whether it’s starting a big garden outdoors, or just growing a couple of plants in your small apartment, gardening is good for your mind, body, and soul.

Virtual Workouts

After months of working out at home, going to a traditional gym no longer feels necessary and virtual workouts are here to stay.


Knitting, embroidering, cross-stitching, and other forms of sewing have become extremely popular amid lockdown, and you should seriously consider taking up some of them for the long-term.

Getting Creative

Painting, drawing, and coloring also allowed us to relax, unwind, and get in touch with our creative side. Even if you’re not extremely artistic, you’ll reap the benefits of keeping these hobbies in your life.

Bread Baking

Most of us baked more bread in the last few months than we did in a lifetime, and going back to store-bought bread full-time simply isn’t good enough.
