Butterfly dresses and tops were all the rage during the 90s and 2000s, and their comeback was a long time coming. Many celebrities have given us butterflies by embracing this retro trend, and we’re bringing you some of their best looks so far.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa gave us one of the best looks at this year’s Grammys when she hit the red carpet in a sheer Versace dress with butterfly details, but she didn’t stop there. Following her Grammy win, the British singer posted a series of photos in a metallic mini dress adorned with butterfly motifs.

Olivia Rodrigo

The “Drivers License” singer channeled her inner Mariah Carrey by posing in an adorable butterfly top with blue sequins that looks straight out of the late 90s.

Halle Berry

The lack of red carpet events to attend didn’t stop Halle Berry from dressing up at home. She rocked our world with a dreamy Christian Siriano ensemble, featuring a black tulle dress and matching top adorned with white butterflies.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry took a more subtle approach to this rising trend than the previous three stars, but there’s still something truly dreamy about her butterfly print Dundas dress.
