Instead of buying a whole new winter wardrobe this year, why not re-purpose the one you have?
This year, we haven’t got as much use out of our summer wardrobes as we would like. As winter rolls around, we’re doing our bank balances (not to mention the environment…) a favor by being more selective with the clothes we choose to purchase.
Instead, more and more of us out limiting our fashion purchases to versatile pieces that can bring a fresh update or our current wardrobe. One of our favorite ways to do this is with layering.
As for our favorite style hack this season—it’s got to be the XXL collar. Adding a shirt with a giant collar beneath a sweater is a great way to totally reinvent the sweater while keeping it cute and comfy.
It’s a trick that many top fashion influencers swear by. The best part is, you probably already have big-collared shirts in your wardrobe that you can use to imitate the trend.
