Last week we shared the top five things to go viral during the pandemic and we promised that we would present you with the second part of the list and here it is. Are you ready for the next five things to go viral during COVID-19?

Tie-Dye

Tie-dye has always been a summer camp staple, it’s peak was in the ’60s and ’70s, but during the pandemic, it became a huge trend. It’s a great creative outlet when you’re bored and it brings some color and brightness to an otherwise bleak time.

Dalgona Coffee

With coffee shops around the world closed during the pandemic, we had to find new ways to get our caffeine fix. Enter Dalgona coffee, also know as whipped coffee, which is made from just three ingredients: instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.

K-Pop Fans

K-Pop is about so much more than just the music, it’s a political movement that’s impacted society. K-Pop fans have taken over hashtags and BTS has even donated one million dollars to Black Lives Matter, which fans matched.

Tiger King

We welcomed Joe Exotic and Tiger King into our homes during the pandemic. The story seemed like it was written for Hollywood and we still can’t believe it’s a true story. The show was so popular that there was a socially distance special hosted by Joel McHale.

TikTok Dances

It’s important to stay active during the pandemic, and TikTok dances are good for your physical and mental health. There’s been several challenges including the “Get Busy” and “Blinding Lights” challenge and many celebrities have given us some great content that’s brought a smile to our faces.
