Tori Kelly and JoJo Collabing Is Just as Epic as it Sounds

You may have heard recently about a little duet that is lighting up the internet, and there’s a good reason why. That’s because Tori Kelly, YouTube star, former American Idol contestant, and pop-turned-gospel singer, and JoJo, of 2004’s “Leave (Get Out)” fame finally collaborated to sing a duet.

Performed for the Global Citizen Stand Up album dedicated to ending extreme poverty by 2030, the duo took on Aretha Franklin’s power ballad “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” A challenging song, you may think, and you’d be right, but these two vocalists were more than capable of handling it.

In fact, some would—and did—say that Tori and JoJo are their generation’s best singers with unbelievably impressive ranges, tones, and vocal agility, and the combination of their incredible voices created as exciting a musical collaboration as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston’s 1998 rendition of “When You Believe” for the Prince of Egypt soundtrack.

Not sure anything could possibly be as good? Check it out and see for yourself. The only downside is that it only lasts two and a half short minutes.
