Trends From Past Decades Will Be Coming Back Strong in 2020

2020 is all about the reemergence of trends from the ’60s, ’70s, and 80’s and we’re super excited to incorporate these decades into our wardrobe. These are the trends from past decades that you should expect to see this year.

The ’60s

The fashion in the ’60s was all about vibrant prints, crochet details, and light all-natural fabrics. Psychedelic florals in bright, bold colors will be all the rage this year. Straw bags and crochet stitching are also set to make a comeback.

The ’70s

Expect to see lots of flared denim, knee-length denim skirts, button-downs, and knee-high boot. Collars will be revamped, with longer and pointier collars adorning blazer and button-downs. In regards to accessories, bags will geometric cutouts, stripes, and woven ones will make their way into your outfits.

The ’80s

The ’80s had become synonymous with flashy colors, bold silhouettes, and oversized menswear. Polka dots, oversized suits that look like they could have come from your boyfriend’s closet, hot pants, and mini skirts will be reappearing.
