Lana Del Rey scored her fifth no. 1 album in the UK and soared to no. 2 in the U.S. with her latest album Chemtrails over the Country Club. Instead of taking a breather to enjoy her success, the Grammy-nominated artist is already plotting several exciting new projects.

Rock Candy Sweet

Only a few days after Chemtrails over the Country Club came out, Del Rey announced its follow-up is already on the way. Rock Candy Sweet will be out on June 1st, and she’ll use it to challenge the misconceptions about her artistry and career.

Country Covers Album

While listening to her old singles “Ride” and “Video Games”, Del Rey realized they sound more country than pop. That’s when she decided to record a cover album filled with country songs. This record still doesn’t have a release date, but the singer revealed she has two potential titles in mind.

Something More?

Del Rey’s manager Ed Millett recently disused her plan for the future with Music Week and said she’s been secretly planning something special for years. He didn’t reveal what it was, but he added that the singer might consider giving acting a try.
