Lashana Lynch made quite a splash in the role of the new 007 agent in No Time to Die, and her future is looking bright. The role in the latest James Bond movie served as her big Hollywood break, and she already has many more exciting new projects on the way.

The most exciting project that Lynch currently has on the way will see her joining a musical based on one of Roald Dahl’s most beloved children’s novels. She’ll take on the role of the kind and loving Miss Honey in the movie adaptation of Matilda the Musical.

The Woman King

Lynch has proven her ability to play fierce and formidable characters in No Time to Die, and she’s ready for more. She’ll appear alongside Viola Davis and John Boyega in The Woman King, which centers on a general of an all-female military unit in the Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The Outside Room

Lynch is also set to play the lead in The Outside Room, a poignant drama about a South African woman trying to forge her own identity after being adopted into a white apartheid-era family as a child, only to be cast aside into the servant’s quarters later in life.
