The sudden cancellation of certain shows can really come as a shocker to fans, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is the latest example. NBC bosses decided to take it off the air after only two seasons, but could this show find a new home after its cancellation?

#saveZoeysplaylist

Both NBC and its sibling streaming service Peacock failed to pick up Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist for its third season, but its co-production house Lionsgate Television is hoping this is not the end. They’re currently trying to find a new home for this show with a passionate and dedicated following.

The show’s creator Austin Winsberg also isn’t giving up just yet. He’s shown potential buyers that this musical dramedy is worth saving by starting the viral hashtag #saveZoeysplaylist. He encouraged fans of the show to use it and help Zoey Clarke find a new home, and you can do it too if you want to see more of her adventures.

Finding New Home

If Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist manages to find a new network after its cancellation at NBC, it won’t be the first show to do so. It’s pretty common for TV shows with a passionate following to be shopped at new networks after their initial cancellation. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the most notable examples, but something similar happened to Community, The Mindy Project, and One Day at a Time.
