Over the past few weeks we’ve been seeing something a bit strange and unfamiliar—celebrities have looked almost unrecognizable because they’ve been bleaching their eyebrows. They’ve been pairing the shocking look with platinum blonde hair and to be honest, we’re not sure how we feel about the transformation. Fans went crazy when the Keeping up with the Kardashians star debuted the new look. While it’s drastic, it’s not permanent—it was for a “‘special shoot”. The bleached brows were paired with a platinum blonde wig, a smoky eye, lots of lashes, blush, and a heavily-lined lip.
Katy Perry
Perry came dressed in character as Tinker Bell for Disney-themed American Idol night. She fully committed to the costume from head-to-toe, rocking platinum blonde hair, prosthetic elf ears, bleached eyebrows, a green minidress, and sparkly fairy wings. The look was only temporary as she captioned the photo, “going to go dye my brows back now”.
Maisie Williams
People can’t stop talking about The Game of Thrones star’s platinum blonde hair and bleached eyebrows that she rocked at the 2021 BRIT Awards where she presented Taylor Swift with the Global Icon Award. She actually debuted the look a few weeks earlier on her Instagram in an Earth Day post.
