Zendaya delivered a striking beauty moment at the New York City premiere of The Odyssey, pairing an extra-long, softly undone braid with flushed, luminous makeup. The overall effect felt airy and romantic, fitting neatly with the goddess-inspired direction of her red carpet style for the film’s press tour.
Her hair was styled by Coree Moreno, who aimed for a look that felt textured, effortless, and full of movement. He created a deconstructed fishtail braid that fell all the way to mid-hip, leaving face-framing pieces out in front and allowing a few strands to escape for a windswept finish. To build length and fullness, Moreno used Bellami Professional Tape-Ins and Wefts in Chocolate Rebel and Dark Brown, then worked in Nexxus AIR SHAPE Workable Hold Texture Spray for volume and hold. He finished with Nexxus Maxximum Firm Hold Hairspray to keep everything in place.
Makeup artist Ernesto Casillas kept the focus on glowing skin, describing the goal as beautifully luminous and sun-kissed. He used a fresh, radiant base and layered Prada Beauty Touch Blush in Caffee and Cherry across Zendaya’s cheeks, nose, temples, and chin to mimic where the sun naturally hits. A touch of Prada Balm in Astral Pink completed the look. Braids have been a recurring theme throughout her The Odyssey appearances, including the crown braid she wore in London and the milkmaid braids seen in Paris.
With the press tour nearing its end, this latest appearance adds another memorable beauty look to Zendaya’s run. According to the report, fans will not have to wait long for more red carpet moments, as she is expected to return to the spotlight for the next Dune film in a few months.
