We can always count on the Grammy Awards to bring some drama our way, and Sunday night’s ceremony didn’t disappoint. Music’s biggest night introduced us to many dramatic red carpet trends, and here are five that managed to steal the show.

Golden Dresses

Golden dresses were going stronger than ever at this year’s Grammys. Some of our favorite stars hit the red carpet wearing this spectacular color, including Cardi B, Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, and Glorilla.

Daring Cutouts

Many stars brought some edge to the Grammys in daring cutout dresses. Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo put this trend on the map, but Coco Jones and Victoria Monét were right behind.

Feather Weather

Some of the best looks at this year’s Grammys included feathered details, including Sabrina Carpenter’s baby blue dress by JW Anderson and Cardi B’s showgirl-inspired sequined Roberto Cavalli gown.

Dramatic Accessories

Several stars brought some drama to the Grammys by rocking capes, including Kelsea Ballerini, Victoria Monét, and Latto. Others opted for dramatic gloves, starting with Beyoncé, Kehlani, and Chappell Roan.

Theatrical Fashion

We can always count on over-the-top, theatrical looks to make their way to the Grammy Awards. Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, and Janelle Monáe embraced this dramatic trend with open arms.
