Beyoncé’s new music is always worth waiting for, and she’s finally ready to give us her first solo studio album in six years. She announced her seventh studio album Renaissance last week, and here’s everything we know about this highly-anticipated record so far.

Release Date

Beyoncé started teasing the release of her new record by removing bios and photos from her social media profiles – but that was just the first step. The big moment came when she officially announced her new album Renaissance and revealed it’s hitting the shelves on July 29.

Tracklist

Queen B gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Break My Soul”. Variety reports we can expect a multi-part album filled with dance and country tracks, and it’s expected to feature a total of 16 songs.

Album’s Vibe

Beyoncé is yet to share an official statement regarding Renaissance since announcing its release, but she discussed what’s on the way in the past. Here’s what she had to say to Harper’s Bazaar when asked if she’s working on new music last year:

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”
