Cleveland Browns’ offense is about to get a big boost as the team hopes to remain in the AFC playoff race. The team announced that their Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb returned to practice this week, and he is expected to play against Houston Texans on Sunday.

Chub more than a month of football after suffering a sprained MCL in a Week 4 win against Dallas Cowboys. He was on injured reserve for the past four weeks but was designated to return on Monday.

This is great news for Cleveland, considering they recently lost star wideout Odell Beckham Jr for the season. Beckham tore his ACL and had to undergo season-ending surgery.

Throughout the first four weeks, Nick Chubb was among the league’s most productive runners and currently leads the NFL in 20+ yards runs with six. Chubb totaled 335 yards on 57 carries in 2020 while rushing for four touchdowns.

Cleveland currently sits at No. 3 in AFC North with a 5-3 record. They are now facing a stretch of three winnable games that could further solidify their postseason bid and carry them to playoffs for the first time since 2002.
